We are joining the Clean up the World

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Clean Up the World brings businesses, community groups, schools and governments together in a range of activities and programs that positively improve local environments. Since the first campaign in 1993, Clean Up the World has inspired an estimated 35 million volunteers in 130 countries and today empowers communities from every corner of the globe to clean up and fix up and conserve their local environment.

Clean Up the World supports its Members by providing them with a range of resources to help them obtain support, plan, profile and promote their activities through our websites and communications to our regional and international media.

Clean Up the World Members adhere to the Clean Up the World Ethos and honour the spirit of Clean Up the World when participating and conducting activities. Environmental issues can be addressed through a range of initiatives from clean ups and tree planting activities to recycling, water management and energy conservation projects.

Your group, organisation, business, local government entity or school can join Clean Up the World as a Member. Membership is free (except for Corporate Members) and renewable annually.

The event is held over the 3rd weekend in September.
